Research & Competitive Analysis

To ground the project in reality, I began with an in-depth study of competitor brands. I created a research grid comparing price points, materials, design styles, and differentiators.
This helped identify market gaps and opportunities for the brand to stand out. This analysis became the strategic foundation for the design work that followed.
With insights in hand, I started sketching how the brand could extend beyond planters into a full outdoor living system. I explored planters that could double as storage, modular seating options, and versatile side tables. These low-fidelity sketches were quick, exploratory, and often spread across my messy desk but they captured the first sparks of how the line could evolve.
From Sketches to 3D modelling and Renderings

From those explorations and weeks of feedback and improvement, I refined one concept into a cohesive patio set, a lounge collection designed to feel sculptural yet inviting.

Blender Animation
To highlight flexibility, I created a transition animation in Blender showing how the furniture adapts across different patio layouts and outdoor spaces. This motion piece emphasized the collection’s versatility — demonstrating how a single design system could scale from compact balconies to full garden patios.
Pitch Deck
The goal was to not only show design work but to tell a story: where the brand stands today, the opportunities ahead, and how these concepts position them for growth.
The deck framed Swave Studios as the creative partner capable of bridging strategy and design, and my role was in shaping that vision into a compelling, visually cohesive narrative.
