tidytins JEWELRY BOX

Driven by a desire to organize my growing jewelry collection in a personalized manner, I designed and 3D printed a custom jewelry box prototype. Generic options failed to meet my needs, especially considering my OCD, which necessitates a highly organized and tailored solution. This project is in its first prototype stage, with a second version in production following user testing to refine its functionality and design. This has been a pilot product for my domestic brand, TidyTins, which focuses exclusively on organization systems.

After testing my MULTIPLE prototypes, I identified several issues such as lack of travel-friendliness and non-functional container partitions. To address these, I enhanced the design with sturdier walls for increased stability. Another challenge was the impracticality of carrying jewelry, so I incorporated threads to improve its portability. Additionally, I adjusted the hole sizes to maintain visibility while preventing jewelry from escaping.

These copper and marble finish, elegant and minimalistic TwistTins are the first products for my own design brand.
